Rainy week in New Orleans

Though it was bright and sunny when we arrived on Sunday, it has turned stormy and grey. Despite that, we’re having a great time here in the Crescent City! The staff here at Pontchartrain Landing has been just wonderful, too. I injured my foot pretty badly last Saturday and can’t get around very well. Employees have helped me to my camper with bags of ice and dropped off a wheelchair to me that I rented from a local service. They even helped me find a mobile repair service when my fridge went out. Thanks, guys!

We came up from Florida to see the Imagination Movers concert at the UNO Lakefront arena. We stayed at the Pontchartrain Landing for 3 days/2 nights. Our whole family had a blast. Clean/safe enviroment.

They were breaking open the marina during our stay and another guest gave us a cruise on his party barge. We went through a lock and into the mississippi right to the French Quarter!!! It was the best!!! Here’s a pic of the fun afterwards.
